PASTORAL COUNCIL           

Mission Statement:    The purpose of the Council shall be:  a) To accept responsibility along with the Pastor for the spiritual, social life and mission of the Church in the Parish; b) To act as an authentic representative voice of the People of God – lay, religious and clerical; c) To provide an open and honest forum of communication and dialogue regarding parish affairs among the Pastor, deacon(s), parish employees, the laity and any other religious associated with or assigned to the parish; d) To assist the Pastor in the administration of the parish through advice, recommendation, support and active cooperation; e) To encourage by all available means an involved, vigorous and effective lay apostolate; f) To participate, by active cooperation with the Regional Council and with the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, in the total life and mission of the parish within the Archdiocese of Baltimore; g) To be a visible witness to all persons of the message and service of our Lord Jesus Christ.
