St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor
Prepare to Serve – STAND
To: All Volunteers
From: Jeanne Geisinger, Stand Coordinator
Hello!
Thanks so much for offering to serve the parish! Your time and talent are both a gift and an important asset to St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore and St. Joseph-on-Carrollton Manor Church have a strong commitment to supporting healthy ministry to children and youth. For this reason volunteer applicants are required to participate in the diocesan approved training program – STAND. On this site you will find all the forms, booklets and instructions for the online training.
Please print the forms, complete and return to the parish office.
The parish training program is Prepare to Serve – STAND, and consists of:
- Application for Volunteer Services (ages 18 to Adult)
- Criminal History Consent Form (ages 18 to Adult)
- Driving Record Check Form (only if you will be driving for parish sponsored events)
- Review of Booklets Form (indicates that you have read the online booklets)
- Code of Conduct Booklet (please read)
- A Statement of Policy Booklet (please read)
- Online Video Training Instructions Form (takes approx. 1 hour, print certificate at end)
- http://childsafeeducation.com/baltimore-archdiocese.html (TRAINING WEBSITE)
Thank you for being a St. Joe’s volunteer! Let me know if you have any questions about the training, I’ll be happy to help. I can be reached at 301-663-0907, ext. 3018, or email, jgeisinger@stjoesbuckeystown.org.
Blessings,
Jeanne
IMPORTANT, this training must be completed ASAP! You can not participate in your chosen volunteer position at St. Joseph’s until you have returned the forms, viewed the training film, and we have processed your paperwork, so please do this now!
