Today we welcome James Mannarino to our staff! He will serve as the parish manager and be responsible for the administration of the parish and of our mission. With the growth of the parish to almost 950 families, now Father Frazier and the staff will have the support of a gifted manager who will share in the care and growth of this parish community as we look to our future with enthusiasm for passionately sharing the Gospel of Jesus and living our Mission Statement. (Read Father Frazier’s announcement here.)
James grew up in Montgomery County and is an alumnus of the University of Maryland. He worked for more than 20 years for The Gazette newspaper, including as president and publisher, and guided the organization through many changes.
Throughout his career, he has been actively involved with community non-profits in Montgomery County and Frederick County. James is a graduate of the Leadership Montgomery program.
He lives in New Market with his wife, Jessica, and his daughter, Kate, who is 16. They are members of St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Libertytown. James and Jessica also have two sons, Joseph, 24, who lives in California, and Michael, 21, who lives in Urbana.
