Our Mass times may be changing…tell us what you think!

How it all started…

Over the past year, many of you have reached out to our parish leadership, urging us to make faith formation for children and adults as high a priority as Mass, prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and service to those in need (Outreach).

We have heard you!

In a survey earlier this spring, you overwhelmingly told us that Sunday morning is the best time for your families to be able to attend faith formation classes (along with Wednesday evenings).

Why change Mass times?

In our discussion about how we could make this work, we realized that to successfully add faith formation classes on Sunday mornings, we would need to change our Mass times to 8am and 11am. This schedule would allow families to attend Mass before or after class, and would give plenty of time to provide quality classes in between Masses. (Holy Grounds would continue after both Masses.)

Changing Mass times is not something we take lightly, but since Faith Formation is one of the pillars of our parish mission and vision (Word), we believe it is worthy of consideration.

Before we can further consider this proposal, we want to hear the thoughts and opinions of as many parishioners as possible about this idea.

Thank you for taking the time to respond!
