Our Caring Meals Ministry is a way for our parishioners to “take care of our own”, to lend a helping hand to those who may be recovering from surgery, going through chemotherapy, bringing home a new baby, or are sick and need short-term assistance with meals. We hear it so many times that people want to help their fellow parishioners. This is a great way to serve others and make a difference in someone’s life. The purpose is simply to help someone in need by providing a ready-made meal, taking time out of your busy schedule to lovingly prepare a meal for someone who is in need of assistance. (And you don’t need to be a gourmet chef!) Isn’t this what we are called to do?
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Please click the link below to sign up and lend a helping hand. This will ensure that you receive any emails that we send requesting meals for parishioners. Please know that you do not need to respond to every request – simply sign up when you are able to help!
We adhere to the Archdiocese of Baltimore Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth. All adult volunteers need to register on our management compliance website www.virtus.org and read the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct and Statement of Policy. For more information click here.
