Vocations to the Priesthood

For information about becoming a Permanent Deacon and communities of religious men and women, you can contact our parish office to speak to our pastor or one of our deacons.

For more information on vocations to the priesthood please contact the Archdiocese of Baltimore – Office of Vocations or any of the following sites:

May 15, 2015: We give thanks and congratulations to Father Frazier, our pastor since 1997, who was ordained on this day in 1971, and so marks 44 years as a priest today! We can all help promote vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. See this recent article, “If We Want Vocations, We’ve Got to Pray for Them” in the Catholic Review for information.

May 15, 2014: We give thanks for our Pastor, Fr. Lawrence Frazier, who on this day marks the 43rd Anniversary of his ordination! We are blessed by his “Yes” to a vocation to the priesthood!  Please honor him by promoting vocations. See the website for how you can help: How You Can Help Promote Vocations

Please pray for our seminarians of the Archdiocese of Baltimore
& all men who are called by God to become a priest.

You can pledge to pray for vocations either daily or weekly at Invisible Monastery, where you can also find a variety of prayers. The Vatican encourages us all to commit to continuous prayer for priestly vocations.

A Prayer for Priests

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, hear the prayers we offer for our priests. Let them know clearly the work that You are calling them to do. Grant them every grace to answer Your call with courage, love, and lasting dedication to Your will.
