Children’s Liturgy of the Word Ministry
During the weekend Masses, the Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) ministers and assistants lead the children out of the sanctuary to proclaim the Sunday readings and give a scripted homily designed for children ages 4-10. The children are then brought back to Mass during the collection. Our CLOW ministers are back in time for the second part of the Mass!
Easy-to-follow lessons are sent electronically to all leaders. Once a volunteer has gone through the training and has ‘shadowed’ as many sessions as they feel needed, they can sign up for as many or as few weeks as they’d like. Teens are eligible to be assistants and they earn service hours for it.

The training and background check must be repeated every 5 years. For more information, click here.
