St. Joseph’s Food Bank

St. Joseph’s Food Bank averages about 30 food deliveries per month. We depend on your weekly donations to support this outreach. Items that we are currently in need of are juice – 64 oz., canned fruit, and pasta sauce.  

Our Food Bank depends on your weekly donations to support this outreach. The following items are in need: canned fruits, vegetables, beans, chili, stews; cereal, oatmeal, boxed potatoes, rice, pasta sauce, juice, desserts, tuna, regular pasta, macaroni and cheese, pasta salad, flavored pasta, pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter, jelly. The breezeway doors at St. Joseph are open Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am- 4:00 pm for drop-off of food donations. Donations can also be brought in before weekend Masses.  Your thoughtfulness and generosity are truly appreciated.

           Please note, we currently do not need soup or pasta sauce.

The food bank is open to anyone in the community and can be accessed by appointment. Please contact the parish office if you need assistance.

Volunteers in this ministry collect and sort the donations, pack bags as needed, and deliver to people in need.  If you are interested in volunteering in this ministry or have questions, please submit your information below.

We adhere to the Archdiocese of Baltimore Policy for the Protection of  Children and Youth.  All adult volunteers in this ministry need to register on our management compliance website   and read the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct and Statement of Policy,  complete online training, have a background screen performed, and provide 3 references.   The training and background check must be repeated every 5 years.  For more information, click here.
