Teaching the Faith: Our Catechists

catechist

Passing on our Catholic Faith to others and inviting them into a living relationship with Jesus is the best gift you can give to someone, a gift that opens up onto Eternity.

If you feel like God might be calling you to this beautiful work, please contact James Mannarino.

Whether you feel called to work with children, teens, or adults, we have a place for you.

Whether you are interested in being a lead catechist, an assistant catechist, aiding with retreats for the Sacraments, or helping out with RCIA, we would love to have you!

If you are worried that you do not know enough or that you have never formally taught the faith before, the Religious Education staff are here to help you! No special knowledge is needed, just a love for your faith and a desire to share it with others. The catechist manual will provide specific planning tips and resource references to help you feel comfortable in this ministry.

The Christian community cannot carry out a permanent catechesis
without the direct and skilled participation of adults…”
